Consigning your clothing or home decor is easy! Here's how it works:
Clothing and accessory items for Honeysuckle Quality Consignment are accepted Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 6pm. No appointment is required. Honeysuckle Home consignments are accepted Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday by appointment only. Please call or e-mail us to schedule an appointment. Home décor items (furniture excluded) will also be accepted for consignment on Wednesday without an appointment. Consignors will pay an annual fee of $5.00 to consign an unlimited number of items. All pricing & periodic reductions will be established by Honeysuckle. The consignor receives 40% of the selling price or 50% for items selling over $150 once an item has sold.
Consignor proceeds can be obtained by coming to Honeysuckle during any open business hours or be used as credit for store purchases. Consignor account balances may be checked anytime via http://www.myresaleweb.com/ The consignment period is 60 days & begins once the item is on the sales floor. Items left after 60 days become the store’s property and may be donated to charity. All holiday items will expire 5 days after their holiday regardless of when consigned. Consigned items later found unsuitable for sale (i.e. stains, holes, missing buttons, defects etc…) will automatically be donated to charity. We will strive to take great care of all articles consigned with us, but Honeysuckle is not responsible for loss due to fire, theft or damages and everything is left at the owner’s risk. Seasonal Guidelines (dependent on weather and temperature) Spring/Summer January –July Fall/Winter August -December Unsold items may be reclaimed within the week prior to the 60-day expiration by personally removing them from the rack and completing a removal ticket with an associate. Earlier removal of items is not permitted. Please bring help to unload your items. For liability reasons we will not provide assistance in moving items to be consigned. Furniture and home décor pieces priced greater than $25 may be reclaimed within the week prior to expiration. Furniture pickups will be accepted on Saturday only and must have prior approval. All items must be current styles and ready for resale (i.e. freshly laundered or dry-cleaned and free of holes, stains, odor, wrinkles, pet hair etc…) Review of items is limited to 25 pieces per day. Any unaccepted items will be returned to you at the time of drop off.
Honeysuckle Home Consignment Guidelines
Acceptance of furniture must be preapproved by our staff prior to arrival. Please bring in or e-mail a digital photo to mail@honeysuckleqc.com for our initial review. All items must be clean, in good condition and in demand. Any items that are missing parts, chipped, cracked or broken will not be accepted. We may not be able to accept items that have been housed in a smoking environment. Many things do not reveal themselves in a photo. We must physically see the item in order to guarantee absolute acceptance and arrive at an accurate price.
